George Owens
Accredited Exercise Physiologist
About
George Owens is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist dedicated to helping individuals achieve their health, fitness, and performance goals. With a background in group coaching, clinical practice, and competitive sport, George combines professional expertise with lived experience to deliver personalised, evidence-based programs that empower clients to move and feel better.
George holds a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology (Honours) from The University of Queensland, where his Honours research focused on trauma-informed approaches to exercise. Alongside his degree, he has also completed Certificate III and IV in Personal Training, giving him a strong foundation in both clinical exercise prescription and practical coaching.
He has experience supporting clients across a wide range of needs, including chronic health conditions, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, NDIS services, and strength and conditioning, and is particularly interested in bridging the gap between clinical care and athletic performance.
Outside of the clinic, George is an active amateur boxer with multiple state-level achievements. This background fuels his passion for performance, resilience, and strength-based training. He integrates these principles into his work with clients, helping them build confidence, improve fitness, and achieve lasting results.
George’s approach is centred on the individual. He focuses on creating an inclusive, supportive environment that meets clients where they are and guides them step-by-step toward their goals whether that’s recovering from injury, enhancing athletic performance, or improving overall wellbeing.
