About
Ahrie believes “Everyone should feel strong and capable for life” - he helps his clients through personal training, in Brisbane and virtual consultations for people worldwide.
Born and raised in Brisbane, Ahrie was initially immersed in rugby and boxing, but his passion shifted in 2019 after competing in a bodybuilding show. It was then, he discovered a love for Olympic weightlifting, drawn to its complex skill requirements and athletic development. Training in the gym since 2014, Ahrie has developed a deep curiosity for different training methodologies, which led him to start a career in personal trainer and remedial massage therapy in 2018. He has had the opportunity to train alongside Olympic athletes, further honing his expertise in the field whilst studying to become an accredited exercise physiologist. Ahrie specialises in helping athletes improve their lifting technique, enhance performance, and recover from injuries. He combines evidence-based practices with personalised solutions, offering tailored support for athletes striving to overcome challenges and achieve peak performance. In addition to his hands-on services, Ahrie provides biomechanics guidance and personalised training strategies, working closely with both athletes and coaches to ensure injury prevention and long-term success. Whether you’re preparing for competition or starting your fitness journey, Ahrie equips his clients with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed. Ahrie is joining the Perf team as a face to face strength coach, and when he graduates his Exercise Physiology degree he will join our Exercise Physiology team. |
